You prefer the Marantz".George the above statement is always the case, but having owned the Accuphase DP77 I can tell you that in my opinion the new Marantz is head sholders above the Accupahse that I owned in red-book and by far in SACD mode, I mean by far.
This does not make the Accupahse a bad unit, the Marantz is just better, if not I be selling it already.
