I prefer vinyl to CDs, but I do own a Rega Apollo and it's the most analog sounding CDP I've heard in that price range. I use it with a vintage tube receiver (see pic) and it makes terrible CDs sound tolerable, OK CDs sound good, good CDs sound great, and great CDs sound fantastic.

I would have no trouble describing the Apollo's sound as "sweet" and "non-fatiguing" - and many others have made similar comments.
