First time I heard this one. I do eliminate the ASRC by removing the AD1896 completely when I add the I2S interface to the DAC-1. It becomes a NOS DAC then. Once you remove all the baggage, the AD1896 and the AKM4114 from the signal path, the jitter can be extremely low.
