Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Search the archives for CDP tweaks. I would try all the standard stuff: recap the PSU, upgrade the opamps and signal path passives, reconfigure ground paths to a star ground (if practical), make separate regulators for digital and analog sections if not already present. If you really want to go all out, use gel-cell batteries to drive those circuits. All of these should yield significant improvement. Oh, and a low-jitter clock upgrade. Weigh your options carefully. Unless you're really into the idea of tweaking for the fun and education of it, none of this may be worth it to you.
