PC to DAC connections

Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

I want to play music from the hard drive of my PC (USB2 out)
I would like to get the signal either into my Counterpoint DAC (BNC input) or a Tact 2.2X (Coax, Toslink, AES/EBU inputs)
Is this at all possible. What cabling would I need and what software if any?
Please keep it simple, I find all this very complicated.
