Diapason is a well respected magazine for classical music enthusiasts that reviews hi-fi gear as well.
Diapason reviewers are well known for being extremely demanding in sound. Actually, sound is the only thing they care of: they even carry out blind tests in order to remove any external influence, i.e. the brand name or the appearance of the product. Also, normally they do not like expensive products,so when an expensive product gets the award it means it is really the very best.
