Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Really need your help: MF X-DAC or Benchmark/Lavry DAC's ??

Hi

I've decided to buy a DAC and right now my choices are (for about the same price):

- Musical Fidelity X-DAC V3 + X-PSU V3 (+ X10 tube buffer)
- Benchmark DAC-1
- Lavry DA10

The problem is that I can only audition de Musical Fidelity equipment. That means I can't choose based on my ears. That's why I'd be very grateful to anyone who has listened to at least two of these DAC's and could compare them, not just saying which one is 'better' but also how each one sounds compared to the others.

I've read lot's of reviews of all of them but never a comparison.
The feeling I get is that the Benchmark/Lavry are the 'smart' options: professional DAC's with a no-nonsense approach. But I'm fearing they're too analytical and not musical. The Musical Fidelity option, being more audiophile-oriented (as opposed to professional) could be more entertaing.

But the point is... I'll never know!!
That's why I need your help!

Thank you (a lot) in advance ;-)

Regards
