Is the bit transfer the issue that Todd references?Or, does a DAC introduce an RF source (since a DAC contains a digital processor) that can generate RF interference into the analog output circuits?
If you have ever tried to listen to a AM/FM radio near a computer, it does make you wonder about a processor chip inches from the analog section of a DAC.
