Diodes

69.112.192.140

Hi to all the inmates,

I bought the Xhalou DAC with the 4398 DAC chip and a friend changed the opamps. I was reading a bit on changing the caps to Blackgates and Reference Audio Mods suggests the Rubycon ZA/ZL. I am most concerned with the diodes right after the transformer. Which are the best to use or are my stock diodes good enough(don't know what kind they are). The type that are in there look like they have a big solder ball right in the middle with a black band to one side, if that helps. I know what the black band is for but I guess I am trying to find out if the stock diodes are good, bad, or indifferent.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I can change these parts on my own.

Thanks!
