Behringer: using SRC2496 with DEQ2496

Not a lot of discussion on the SRC which i just acquired but have not hooked up yet. Are you finding better results using it before or after the DEQ in the chain? I see where some use two, one before/one after, but I am not sure if I want to go there (more and more stuff in the chain).

Is there any opinion on which, if any, has the better DAC? Yes I know there are those who decry the DAC in these units as crap, but this is a second system which I would like to take as far as possible on a budget.
