the same question bugs me too.is rega apollo one of these devices that should be avoided purchased seconhand?
i think i may recall some users who followed rega instructions about loading times still having troubles with the machine.
i have a 300 pounds offer made from the original owner for apollo under a year old, aparently with no other issues than loading times, and i still can't decide
