I'm interested in the Attraction DAC, but won't be able to try it out until later in the year at the earliest. My reference non-os DAC is the Audio Mirror D1 which has been modifed by TRL. In stock form I thought it was very close to the Audio Note 2.1x and in my system beat the 1.1x. Since then it has had power supply modifications, wiring upgrades, and some dampening of the DAC chips. Just recently I had TRL change the output signal so that it bypasses the opamp. While the gain is a little lower, there is still enough output voltage. It helps that I have a high gain/input sensitivity amp.The level of detail I'm getting from this DAC is excellent. I also have a Monarchy M24 in my system right now. This one has passive IV and a tube output stage. No digital filters, but it does take 16 bit and convert it to 20 bit, as well as take 24 bit and compress it to 20 bit. So I guess it is not a true non-os DAC. The sound is excellent and for the money this one is hard to beat.
