You can get 9/44's from a number of sources. I used a genuine Philips mechanism I bought off the web. Last week I bought another 2 from www.grandata.co.uk which arrived yesterday. They are chinese (I think) but were only 24 UK pounds each ($40)so worth a try. Sourcing an original shouldn't be too difficult.
