I have a somewhat similar setup: Theta Miles > Monarchy DIP Classic > Monarcy Upsampler > Behringer DEQ2496 > Benchmark DAC1. It works well for me, and I do think the reclocking/upsampling ahead of the Benchmark makes a positive difference. The Behringer's built-in DAC isn't bad, but the Benchmark is better. Haven't heard yours, so I can't comment on that. Anyway, as another poster said, it should be fun to try, and there is no reason it shouldn't work.
