I am a very happy owner of a 1.2 dack. I have not heard the latest one. You can simply choose to live in the past for now, buy version 1.x, and enjoy what I think is pretty great sound.As for the price increase, even with little improvement, it is probably warranted. The 1.2 easily bettered my $800 player. Assuming the v2 is better, it is still a great deal. Also, the support is pretty exemplary...
