If it leaves the surface of the CD clear, how can you tell when it's gone? That's what I've been wondering, ever since some of my CDs clouded up and I'm not sure I removed the stuff that caused the problem, since the clouding has sometimes reoccurred (never had a sonic effect that I could hear, though). The embarrassing part is that I don't remember what I used on them in the first place, since there was a time when I was experimenting quite a bit and not being too careful about labeling :-(
