Some of the digital players I've tried break in quite a bit and others not much. Typical changes I've heard are reduced congestion ("opening up") and/or the treble becoming smoother and cleaner.But, I don't know that you can expect the Ayre to equal the Eclipse in dynamics. The Eclipse has awesome dynamics, both macro and micro.
