Hi,All Accuphase players have the Pin 3 Hot instead of the 'normal' Pin 2 in most other brands. So, if you're using ONLY the Accuphase in ur main rig and want to connect it thru XLR, you need to either adjust the 'Polarity' switch on your preamp or reverse the + & - leads of the speaker cables at your amplifier's speaker binding posts.
That said, you will still also need to reverse back the Polarity if you are listening to a different source that maybe also connected to your preamp.
Another way out would be to get your XLR cables custom made to be internally reversed as per the Accuphase Balanced Outputs configuration. This way you wont need to do anything else from the above options.
