Under $4k used, and stock. I don't think you can do it. The closest you might get is the Ayre C-5xe.Modified, the Exemplar Denon 3910 is closest to the EMM labs combo for detail and frequency balance (actually, the APL Denon 3910 is superior, but you won't find it for less than $5500 used).
The Modwright Sony 999ES is very musical, but somewhat colored compared to the Meitner gear. Still, very nice.
