They ALL lie……. Here are some current Audiogon reasons why "I'm selling"• Kondo interconnects: You may ask, "why sell them, then?" Answer: Spring is here in NYC. I want a new road bike, and I'm going to use the proceeds from these items to help purchase a SEVEN cycles titanium frame.
• Butler amplifier: I have just recently upgraded my speaker system and need to sell this to finance that deal. (Like he doesn't need an amp to play his speakers!!!!)
• Proac Response 3.5's: I am selling as my large hi-ceilinged listening room is cancelling out the bass, and while room treatments have helped a lot, its not been enough. The room is just too large, and the only solution is to get larger drivers to move more air. (huh?)
• Chord pre-amp: Unfortunately I must downsize..(sure)I don't know any of the above people but I do know about most of them through friends of friends. (This audio community is a very small) I can tell you each has their own agenda, one being the friend of an importer who buys at below dealer cost. There is a "story" on each but they all lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
