Seems to be where it's headed. Even hard drives use a spinning wheel, but as SSM chips come down in cost, and go up in storage, I think that's where it'll all go. Probably something like a USB stick, but I like the idea of a round, mirrored ball, my dear old dad came up with that one 30 years ago.
