Re: Ayre CX-7e transport problem

It sounds like one of two things:

a) The transport mechanism has a problem, or;

b) There is a cold solder joint in the controller board.

I would guess that it's the first one, based on your description. (The controller board is on as long as the unit is plugged in, so there is nothing to warm up there. However, playing discs will cause the servos in the transport to warm up.) Either problem can be fixed quickly by the expert staff of our Hong Kong distributor, Jadis. They will simply exchange the defective module (transport or PCB).
