agree with your thoughts about sacd. With a large majority of music buyers perfectly happy with mp3 downloads, you have to wonder about sacd's future. Certain well made sacds such as some of the acoustic sounds and mofi titles are better, the major label offerings are mostly crap, and often don't even contain the extra data sacd's are supposed to have. On 2 box linking set ups, some feel You create a whole other can of worms when you run the data out through a external link...I agree. I prefer a well designed one box player.
