Yes the nickel plating, maybe the cryo makes up for this ?
Anyway, further thoughts, as I have a spare short Accuphase wire , I will terminate with Xangsane rhodium and the gold plated cyko iec and see what that brings to the table in lieu of the gold and silver Accuphase I now regard as being my reference connecting to the blue Xangsane receptacle.
Mixing again red metal with white metal.
