Tangram,
Might i ask your personal opinion of the whole concept of Pure ( Red ) Copper vs Gold Plated Copper options as it relates to sound?, as we've both heard the Accuphase PC with its stock gold plated brass connectors, which really aren't bad sounding at all. Yet as I'd like to buy a set of said gold or copper plugs by days end. I'd love to once again know your take on both sonically speaking.
While I'm well aware that many find the gold plugs offer nice mid-band | bass derail, yet lack in regards to top end extension and are themselves rolled off, or which I'm looking to once again add resolution and snap to said cord. Yet I'm reading many believe that copper connectors are just as warm, yet slightly more neutral, and while I've been able to find those Xangsane plugs in both flavors for less than the $38 per set on AliExpress, I'm looking to only buy one set or the other?, so your opinion counts in my book, do I use the rhodium AC Male in tandem with which to add a little bit more top end response from said cord?, without losing its better qualities?. Yes...-, I can admit a bit of confusion on making a practical move here on my own, so once again I'm more than willing to trust you great sense of hearing before pulling the trigger.
I've also noticed that why you're fond of pure silver connectors. I've yet to see you're mentioning either using silver or rhodium plated plugs on both ends of your cords, and would like to ask why?, of you believe there's more to be had out of using different plating types on both ends?.
I'm also looking at adding a set of these on both ends and chillin':

Oh well, back to the grind of uncertainty.
Be well | Stay safe as always.
