I'm going to be away this weekend so won't be able to respond, if necessary, until this coming Monday.
I've had a collection of the Odin power cords since November based on the comments from you and others in this forum --thanks BTW. I have 1 Odin Gold which currently I'm using to feed a PS Audio Duet. On the Duet are 3 Odin 2 Silver cords that lead to a Conrad Johnson CA200 integrated, an Oppo 105D, and a PS Audio DirectStream DAC. On another outlet I have an Odin 2 Silver going to my Xfinity Gateway router/modem.
All interconnects and both coax cables are Odin 2 Silver. I tried the Odin 2 Silver Ethernet cables but eventually found I prefer the In-Akustik Cat 6 cables I had previously. Speaker cables are the Chinese Valhalla 2 type that have 28 conductors (14 positive and 14 negative) per stereo side. I am extremely/especially pleased with the speaker cables.
I have not changed any of the plugs that came standard. My impressions are pretty much the same as yours in that the Gold is a bit sweeter sounding and not quite as detailed but the detail difference is quite small. The Silver on the other hand have more sparkle to the sound is as good a way of describing what I hear as any other way. I do sometimes alternate and replace the Odin Gold with another Odin 2 Silver feeding the Duet. In my opinion either arrangement is pleasing and I switch between the Gold and Silver more depending on my mood than anything else.
What you decide to do is what you decide to do but I wouldn't be in any hurry changing out from the stock connectors -- these power cords seem to take quite some time before they burn in and come into their own.
Just my 2¢ naturally.
Joe
