Some time ago I asked here whether anyone could recommend a service that could make up a custom cable. The only suggestion was that I might have to do it myself.

Well, I now have a streamer with switches for the cable so that I can use any "standard" HDMI cable and I am enjoying the I2S very much even though currently using just a $2 cable

So I recently went searching for a better cable and landed on a very reasonably priced Chinese solid silver one recommended here by an inmate. Subsequent to ordering it I was asked about components at each end so it could be made up correctly for I2S. I let them know it should be a standard HDMI. But if anyone needs a custom HDMI for I2S it can be found here and, as I have now discovered, at several other places on Aliexpress.
