The Micca (14 gauge) speaker cables are too cheap not to try. $25 (6'pair) and $40 ( 12'pair) from Amazon. So no real risk as you have 30 days or so to decide. FWIW, I found there is a modest break-in period. These have been occasionally raved about on Steve Huff's podcast for a few years.
