Interesting you mention that. I use Neotech UP-OCC silver RCA's and Copper speaker cables.

I'm going to assume there is a difference between OFC silver and OCC silver in the same way as there is with copper hence "there is silver and there is SILVER".

In any event, I do like an open analytical sound. A lot of people like a "warm sound" (think Marantz, McIntosh, Tube) whether they think its warm or not and subsequently think silver makes things harsh.

I prefer to think silver makes things honest.
