Hi all. Looking for anyone with direct experience of Oyaide Tunami II vand Neotech NEP 3001 MKIII. Both are 10AWG UP-OCC cables but the Neotech is silver plated.
I have Tunami on everything bar the CDP where I have just changed to the Neotech NEP 3003 which is the little brother of the 3001 i.e. a 13AWG silver plated UP-OCC cable. It's still breaking in but gives vast amounts of space, detail and speed over the Tunami it replaced. Its missing a little weight and a teeny bit glary, but I'm chalking that up to burning in blues.
The user and magazine reviews point to the Neotech being great, but so do the reviews of the Oyaide.
I half suspect that by the time I'm finished typing this I'll have bought the Neotech for research purposes or some other justification, but it would be great if anyone has any input on using it with powerful amplifiers.
