Hi Mojul, I cannot tell you why but the exact opposite occurred effect when I installed these Xangsane P-6008Ag power cords in my system!

After I received the four, 1.5m, Xangsane P-6008Ag power cords from Xangsane's website. I decided the smart move was to introduce one power cord at a time into my audio system. This way I could listen for any sonic changes each and every power cord made, either positively or negatively, to the sound of my audio system. The first Xangsane P-6008Ag power cord I added, replaced a $1K power cord I previously had on my Music Server/Streamer. I have to admit I was quite surprised not only by the fact that this $100, Xangsane P-6008Ag power cord bettered my previous $1K power cord, but what really surprised me was the level of sonic improvement this Xangsane P-6008Ag power cord made!!!

What was immediately noticeable was how much clearer the music now sounded. It was almost as if my music was previously a little "out of focus" and now was put back into focus! As I continued listening, using mostly Smooth Jazz by Spyro Gyra, Fourplay, Rippingtons, etc., female singers such as Daria, Khani Cole, Halie Loren, etc. and Progressive Rock by Yes, Cryptic Vision, Kansas, etc. I noticed the soundstage was now wider and deeper and the placement of people and instruments was better defined, but what I really enjoyed was how clear the music sounded and much more noticeable the music's inner detail and the decay of notes had become! Another surprise was how much enjoyment I was now able to enjoy listening to music at volumes much lower than I could ever do so before.

As I continued adding the other remaining three Xangsane P-6008Ag power cords, the second on my tube DAC, the third on my 40W/ch, Tube, SET, amp and the fourth on my Custom made Tube Preamp, the effects I described hearing above on the first power cord, would increase a little more with every power cord added to my system! So the effects are definitely accumulative.

I believe it goes without saying, but if you have any doubt, I highly recommend using these Xangsane P-6008Ag power cords. I was so impressed with them that I removed all the power cords in my system ranging from $1K to $3K+ and replaced these with $100, 1.5m, Xangsane P-6008Ag power cords and I plan on purchasing another one in April! Oh, and if anyone is interested, these Xangsane power cords replaced a Hi-Diamond Diamond 3, a Stealth Audio M-21 Super, Sablon Gran Corona, and a $3K power cord I promised I would name because I know someone in the company's upper level.

For those wondering, my audio system consists of:

1) Don Sachs Custom Tube Preamp ($2.9K)
2) Mastersound Reference 845, 40w/ch SET Amp ($15K)
3) YBA Genesis CD-4 CDP ($3.4K)
4) Aurender N100H Music Server/Streamer ($2.8K)
5) Musical Paradise "Modified to use larger 6NS8 tubes" ($1K)
6) Reference 3A, 92dB, Taksim Speakers ($7K/pr)

Not the best, but certainly not low-end...
