Hello Mossback,
I'm inclined to believe any costlier cord isn't going to be as effective on the older Aurender X100L model I've, as it uses a SMPS as opposed to standard LPS type powering its IEC input. As someone whom have used quite a few of the SR based cords, starting with the Master Coupler, Black | Blue 12-10AWG cords in 2010-2020, before selling them off after settling on silver plated copper cords as used for the digital components | but having fallen in love with both of the 10AWG type Viborg MBU 1606 | 1505 pure copper types as used on either of my integrated amps | as mentioned elsewhere it's currently the only copper cable ( cord ) which resides in my system.
Yet I've found in my case the ideal isolation footers are the Ingress Engineering Ball Bearing designs | with a single Tungsten Carbide bearing, alongside two Silicone Nitride types placed underneath said Aurender with great effects which I was clearly able to hear said improvements upon installing them. As I continue to explore this last phase of voicing my system | I'll be sharing said information on the various plugs once they've come in, and have replaced the stock versions, let's just say it's more of an attempt to find means of merely enhancing what's all ready in-house, as I'm not one to fall into replacing components every other month just because it's fashionable, if said items sever my purpose well, and aren't broken?, I'm more rooted as a long term satisfied user more so then not.
