It's been noted by others that Nordost can be bright when matched up with certain equipment except perhaps for their top tier models. My only experience with Nordost was a pair of their entry level interconnects years ago and they were on the bright side.
I'll add a few ideas based on my own experience with speaker cables. From what I've read and heard, the new Wireworld Equinox 8 seem to be a well balanced cable. Another one to consider is the Analysis Plus Oval 9. I had a pair of those for several years and never found them to be bright. They trended slightly warmer than neutral and provided excellent bass reproduction. Another option, less expensive than these two, would be River Cable Flexygy 8 or Flexygy 6 speaker cables. Definitely not bright cables. I had those in my system for a few years as well. I'm not sure if those are available new, but you can check on the used market.
I've found that as I upgraded with components becoming more revealing that taking a "step back" in cabling to OFC copper from OCC, depending on other factors such as structure, dielectric, etc., can still give you high resolution without the stridency that may accompany certain cables. It's the system dependency and matching aspect.
