Not to say that I don't love the 3 ft. Lifatec cable I have. From MacBook Pro to Chord Mojo it a perfect use-case.
Worth every penny.
Just need a 'decent' TOSLINK connection between a CD spinner and DAC for a not too critical use case (otherwise I'd use S/PDIF or AES/EBU).
