I don't know if the audiophiles are aware or unaware, that friends, relatives, and even coworkers have lent me their OEM/generic HDMI cables to be Cooked. After some settling, these Cooked HDMI cables, these kids claim, yield a less-blurry picture. So the potential is there, for better contrast of colors, as well as words against those colored backgrounds. So when they play video games on the big screen (as opposed to smartphone or tablet), the picture quality can be sharper.
But to answer the question, because what we already have is sufficient, there is no urge to "upgrade" anything. And that's a good position to be in. You just kick back, enjoy, and see if anything which does come through is interesting.
