You're definitely correct..., said items are meant to be shared freely at that. On the subject of isolation footers | the likes, it has taken me since 1993 to have figured out how to use different material like Tone-woods or various metals or ball bearings to on how each type plays into enhancing one's system overall tonality, what works on say one's turntable or digital front end, doesn't necessarily means it works with amplification.
Even the type of material used as interfacing between my mini-monitors | stands had to be carefully weighed before having settled upon something I feel brings about such an improvement, what's intact stays put until said speakers are cremated and buried beside me.
I've have to say that when it comes to electronics..., I've once again judge by ear, just because this or that amp offers a power rating of say 100-140 watts per channel, yet compared to an amp with a very very large output transformer, it's as if said lower watt 50-70 wpc amp has better control over any given speakers bass drivers. It seems companies like Naim | Exposure got it right all those years ago, talking about added power supplies | so on.
Whom would've thunk it?. Certainly not I.
My quest now is finding the right tandem of AC | IEC Connectors to place onto my two primary power cords, as used on a Naim Audio SuperNait 3 or Pathos Acoustics Classic Model One MK ll or lll, so far I'm leaning towards two brands of said connectors, namely IeGO Power or Papri, as they seem to be of similar design..., here I've decided to go with rhodium plated copper AC Male | gold plated copper IEC Female, as logic would predict maybe, just maybe in said case of amplification, un-plated copper or silver plated copper might be a tad much.
