Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

Another subjective cable opinion.

I just received 2 meters of VH Audio's Pulsar Cu II OCC Copper Coax. I can not compare it to a boat load of other digital cables, because I have been skeptical about digital cables making a difference providing it had sufficient bandwidth. None the less, years ago I purchased an inexpensive Audioquest cable figuring that it would have sufficient bandwidth and be tough enough to withstand normal use without failing.

Well, on a whim, after trying out Chris' new V-Twist cable and being quite impressed, I decided to make an IC from his VH Audio Pulsar Cu II OCC Copper Coax. I was floored by the results. I can't promise that it will perform as well in anyone else's system, but it made an amazing improvement in my system, it was an improved component equivalent improvement.

Frankly I was stunned, I had expected that it might be noticeable with a few A/B comparisons, but with no burn in, yet I had just made it, plugged it in, and it was immediately obvious that the improvement was stark. I am not competent at applying detailed improvements. I'll try to get a broad flavor, but tubas suddenly could be separated into dented and non dented groups, I don't do. So, brightness issues I have been dealing with were now either much improved or completely resolved. Details were better, and the sound stage was a bit deeper. I certainly don't know if you'll experience this. Your cables may be fine, etc. All I can say is that once again my beliefs were proven to be mistaken, and I am not sure that you could squeeze anything more out a cable than what this interconnect delivers. I no longer appear to have any holes, or exaggerations in the sound. Of course Chris is great to deal with as always.
Best Regards,

Lou
