Speaker cable continuity

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

I'm puzzled- making speaker cables from Duelund dual 12 GA wire.
Measured with multimeter:
B/w two separate conductors- 6.5 Ohm
two ends of the same (presumably) conductors- 0.2 Ohm
Which one is continuous?, the one with 0.2 Ohm reading?
Shouldn't the measurement b/w two different conductors be "OL"?
