I have a non-audiophile friend who owns a telecommunications cabling company. He buys Cat5, 5E and 6 (350 MHz) cabling by the 1000-ft rolls. As he explained to me, the 350MHz cabling has a higher twist count but still is made up of 24AWG solid core copper. Not sure about sheilding. He has lots and lots of leftovers (50ft lengths and smaller) he offered me. This is Belden, CommScope, NordxBDN, General, Essex, Superior and other brands. I don't have the part/model numbers, but I can get that. If anyone is interested in any lengths, I will make you a good deal since he is giving me a good deal. I honestly don't know what this retails at right now, but I guarantee I can beat that by a long shot. Email me at lmheim@excite.com if interested. I am in Marietta/East Cobb Georgia for anyone local wanting local pickup.
