I broke the IEC plug on my PS Audio Microlab AC power cable and tried to replace it with a Wattgate 320i.
The cable with rubber jacket and braided nylon sheathing would not fit into the Wattgate housing, it required dismantling the housing to remove one of the two clamping pieces to make room.
Then the rubber boot on the wattgate popped out and I could not get it back in.
What a nightmare putting this thing together.
Has anyone had better luck with other brands of IECs that accept large thickness cables without modification and the hassle?
