I recently upgraded my phono cable from an Audioquest Jaguar to the Hovland Music Groove 2, which has received many positive reviews and costs more than double. After about 30 hours break-in time I’m wondering if my money was well spent or if “the emperor has no clothesâ€. Many of the small, but expensive, tweaks that I have made to my system have left me wondering if I’ve just been sucked into the audiophile black hole. Do I have defective ears or are these tweaks to minor to notice?
