Tims - The 'recipe' for the star-quad cords are pretty much the same. The differences happen in the connectors, wire (material, strand count, size, etc.) , dialects, solder or crimp, twist count ... Try a few, see which one you like. I'm more of the camp that some cords work better on some devices then others. Good luck! Paul
