DIGITAL dilemna

I have been amassing a collection of cables this last few weeks ....
Audience AU24 & Cardas golden ref ( not recived yet ) for IC ...Black sand Violet Z1 power cords , and for digital : Harmonic Tech , Stereovox XV2 and now I have ordered the Cardas lightning 15 .....the dilemna is that the HT puts the singer in your lap , perhaps not such a bad thing but doing so it blurs /misses some of the low level detail that we all love ...the XV2 has far more detail but I find it slightly bright / cold ..perhaps it needs more time to break in ..a couple of weeks so far ??
the Cardas I have not heard yet & I am not sure if it will give me the warmth and detail I really crave ...
I have a modded tube integrated , Merlin TSM mx's , modded Musichall CD25 running through an Ack 2.0 DAC ..
anyone want to shoot any suggestions my way would be Greatly appreciated !
