Start at the wall first.Upgrade the outlet(s) that feed your system. If it's flawed from the get go(outlet) U can't repair it with a power cord.
Yes a power cord upgrade will improve your system but U will not even come close to hearing what your chosen power cord really sounds like.
JMHO of course.
