Well,
Procrastinator that I am, I purchased around 100ft of the stuff a couple of years or so ago. I am now addressing Power Cords and the latest and greatest no longer appears to favor the 83802 material.
I assume that since the "twist" is not as tight as the newer teflon coated wire, that it is not as good.
Do I:
1)Use it as a dedicated line with ground spiraling around it inside of some armored cable? Is it better for my CDP line than 10awg Romex?
2) Yank out the teflon coated wire , spiral it tighter and do a Flavor 2 or 4 type cable?
3) use it "as is" in a flavor 1 and 2 for my Home Theatre which is not as important to me?Any thoughts and suggestions welcome.
Although the material is a little stiffer than the newer stuff, that the quality of the copper wire is similar>
Any thoughts and suggestions welcome.
