Hi.IMO, as long as the cable is broken-in with a dedicted wideband whitenoise signals instead of music signals, the process will be more efficient& more thorough even for a short time. Brandname cookers do not guarantee better result. I never use one for my 4N pure silver ICs & power cords.
Also, make sure to identify the breaking in direction of the cable.
Don't reverse the direction of signal flow after breaking in.c-J
