Hi-Rez Highway

New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

Over the last 2 months, I have been (finally) ripping my SACD collection to hard drive with a vengeance. I figure I should stop buying new SACDs and just download the MC FLAC or DSF files directly. Options are limited unfortunately. I want to get that new Rach #3 on Chandos. Can only download in MC from Chandos directly, and it would be cheaper to purchase the SACD from Prestomusic and rip it myself. Seems worse for the environment though.

By the way, you can hold a lot of SACDs on one of those 4TB SSD's they sell now. Big space saving move.
