all quality product, I'd wager. Some of the "sound" of RVG Blue Note production was due to having recorded them in his own home studio in NJ, across the river from NYC. Bands would drive over from the city and make records in the basement of the VG household. I don't know that that's the case with work he did for the other labels, but I'm thinking they may have used their own recording facilities.K.
