Yes, it seems like it isn't as special as it once was. I hope that it's still beneficial for independent record stores (wasn't that it's initial purpose?). Perhaps it isn't as important or special as it was in the past now that vinyl records have become mainstream and special releases are more common.Has it become a cash grab opportunity for record companies?
